Delete your ChatTCP account
ChatTCP is published by Nanning Signalling Network Technology Co., Ltd. This page explains how to ask us to delete your ChatTCP account and the related data we store. It applies to the ChatTCP account used in the ChatTCP apps (Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows) and on chattcp.com. You can open this page without signing in.
Steps to request account deletion
- Send an email to support@chattcp.com.
- Use this subject line: Delete my ChatTCP account.
- Include the email address on the ChatTCP account you want deleted. If you signed in with Google, GitHub, or Apple, use the email address from that account.
- If you have a paid ChatTCP plan, add this sentence: “I understand that account deletion cannot be undone, and I give up my remaining paid plan.”
- We delete the account after we confirm that the request comes from the account holder. We complete the deletion within 30 days of that confirmation.
You can start from the app: open ChatTCP, go to Settings, and choose Delete account. That screen asks you to send the same email.
If you used the app or the website without signing in, there is no account for us to delete. Files on your device stay until you delete them. Temporary files uploaded on the website without an account are still removed when they expire.
Data we delete
The ChatTCP app and chattcp.com use the same account. After we confirm the request, we delete that account. The data is not the same for the app and the website.
The account, shared by the app and the website
- Account ID, username, and nickname
- Profile photo
- Email address
- Sign-in tokens we store for the account
- Subscription status we store for the account
ChatTCP app
- Device ID linked to the account
Packet capture files you open in the app stay on your device. We do not store those files. Deleting the account does not remove files from your device.
We do not keep AI chats from the app, or the packet contents sent so an answer can be produced. When you use the built-in AI assistant, that content is sent only for that request, including to DeepSeek, and ChatTCP does not retain it after the reply is produced.
Online website (chattcp.com)
- PCAP files you uploaded for online analysis. We do not keep them permanently. You can delete them yourself, and the system deletes them when they expire. Any of these files still on our servers are deleted with the account.
We do not store online AI conversation content on our servers. It stays only in your browser session and is cleared when you close the browser or refresh the page. During analysis, that conversation is sent to DeepSeek for that request only.
Data we keep, and for how long
- Purchase and order records held by Google Play or the App Store for purchases made in the app. Those companies keep them under their own rules, and we cannot delete them. We do delete the subscription status stored on ChatTCP servers together with the account.
- Payment and order records held by PayPal, WeChat Pay, or Creem for subscriptions bought on the website. We do not store card numbers or payment passwords. We cannot delete the records those payment providers keep.
- Website server logs: IP address, access time, browser type, and operating system. We use them to keep the site stable and for statistics. We do not use them to identify you, and deleting the account does not remove these logs.
- The email you send to request deletion. We keep it for up to 24 months as a support record, then delete it. We do not use it to restore the account.
- A transaction or tax record, only when the law requires us to keep one, and only for the period the law requires. The account data listed above is still deleted within 30 days.
Paid subscriptions
Deleting the ChatTCP account does not cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription, and it does not cancel a subscription bought on the website through PayPal, WeChat Pay, or Creem. Cancel it in that store or with that payment provider, or it may continue to renew.
