ChatTCP Relaunches Online Web Version

ChatTCP Online Web Version Relaunch

ChatTCP launched its first version on April 7, 2024, originally called "Easy TCP Analysis." Unfortunately, I made the poor decision to take it offline in January 2025 - definitely one of my biggest mistakes.

We brought the online web version back on July 13, 2025, with a complete rebuild that fixed the architectural issues that were preventing us from implementing global search functionality in the previous version.

Since the web version had fallen way behind the app, we're currently working hard to catch up and gradually bring all the features over.

After relaunching the web version, we've synced subscription plans between the web and app versions. No matter where you subscribe, you get access to premium features on both platforms. You can download the app or use the online web version - your choice!

The web version comeback is closely tied to our upcoming AI diagnostic analysis features. We're planning to add MCP (Model Context Protocol) capabilities to the web version, so users can analyze pcap files with ChatTCP directly from within large language models.

We promise that the web version won't collect any pcap files you upload or any application layer data from those files. If you're concerned about privacy, we recommend using the offline app instead.
